Sam’s writing encompasses everything from play scripts to magazine features.

She has contributed to innumerable publications, both online and in print media, writing on subjects as diverse as automated braking systems and burlesque performance.

For more than 20 years she worked as a ghost writer (sssh, don’t tell).

As a creative writer Sam has written two musicals with her collaborator, Lemon Otter.

Additionally she has written numerous plays and sketches for performance by adults and children.

Her radio script, ‘Speak Soon’ was shortlisted for the Funny Women Writing Award in 2018.

Her stand up show, ‘Stand Up, Weather Girl’ has enjoyed two successful runs at the
Edinburgh Fringe.

In recent years Sam has been a regular columnist for Dorset Life magazine.
